Today was one of the best weather days walking in a totally pastoral scene. Oak & pine woods, planted fields, gardens, all the time along quiet farm lanes. Monica is having a problem with sciatic and lower back problems, but trooped over 17 miles inspite of the pain – amazing lady. We are Melide (known for it’s Pulpo ( Octopus) dishes. We can’t believe we have actually walled over 750 km. We were told yesterday that we were on the less than 5 percent by age to make the Camino.
